Loz Ogle

“Loz was extremely knowledgable, motivating, and supportive. I had an amazing time and have been raving about my experience to my friends and family back home.”
Managing Director
Managing Director Loz Ogle is our resident Kiwi and has been climbing for over 20 years. He studied Outdoor Education and has worked in the industry, both here in New Zealand and in Italy, Wales and Australia for over 10 years. When not at work or at the local crag Loz can be found skiing at Treble Cone, volunteering for the local Search and Rescue group or developing his green thumb in the garden.
Ben Watson Climbing Queenstown Operations Coordinator

Ben Watson

“We had a fun and thrilling climb with our guide, Ben, today. Ben had a place in mind that would be sunny and hopefully warm. He did not disappoint. We are now excited to be able to say we have climbed in New Zealand. ”
Operations Coordinator
Ben graduated with a degree in outdoor education around 10 years ago, since then has worked worldwide guiding climbing, skiing, snowboarding and mountain biking. In recent years he has also worked as an expedition leader, training and assessing young people for their Duke of Edinburgh awards and also leading overseas expeditions. When he is not working Ben is usually out climbing, biking or chasing the snow!

Chris Prudden

“We felt really safe, had lots of time to ask questions of our guide and could set our own pace. The views were stunning and walking through the snow channeled our inner Hillary!”
Chief Guide - Alpine
Most at home in the alpine environment, Chris is not only an excellent guide and instructor but also a talented photographer. When not leading our mountaineering trips, Chris also volunteers for the Wakatipu Alpine Cliff Rescue Team.

Emma Timmis

“Emma was the best instructor ever. She was so much fun to be around and she taught us so much.”
Climbing Queenstown's adventure girl, Emma has run across Africa (twice), roller-skated across the Netherlands, and is the first person to ride an Elliptigo 8,000km across Australia (Guiness World Record pending)! She has recently returned to Queenstown and is putting her rock-climbing qualifications to good use guiding our full and half day trips, as well as leading our guided alpine walks. Her enthusiasm is infectious, as is her passion for the outdoors.

Scott Reynolds

“It was great to have Scott as our guide for our family of 4. He kept us all climbing for the whole time. Really enjoyed the climbing!”
As well as teaching rock climbing, Scottie is a fitness instructor, offering boot camps and outdoor training in Queenstown. He also operates a film a photography business, providing location scouting and filming services in the region. Ex-Navy, Scott's organisational and motivational skills are unparalleled and he'll have you scaling the rock in no time.

Cameron Walker

Cam is all things outdoors. Although he's originally from the North Island we let this slide for him. Mostly because he is a through and through outdoor adventurer, and full blown lover of New Zealand, with all it's historic, cultural, natural and outdoor pursuits to offer.

A true professional - he has significant experience in education outside the classroom, having been a Chief Instructor managing a wilderness based semester school. He has more qualifications than you can poke a stick at, however he is a down to earth provincial Kiwi, always a hit with our groups.
