Family Activity – Via Ferrata

January 19th, 2010

The Via Ferrata is a perfect way for families to enjoy an adventure together in Queenstown. We have a selection of trails and cliff’s to climb which keeps the adventure at the right level for peoples abilities. We have a maximum group size of six to one guide, which keeps trips personal and also maintains our high safety standards.  The normal Via Ferrata trip last 4 hours which includes climbing the rungs on the Via Ferrata and trekking to the cliffs. During the short trek, your guide will give you a  full interpretation of the native flora and fauna and point at local landmarks. If you are looking for something a little different, which includes educational value and adventure, this is the perfect activity. Look forward to guiding you on the Kiwi Via Ferrata.

Plenty of action on our local peaks of the Remarkables.

Heli hike or climb

September 16th, 2009

Utilise your time most efficiently to gain those alpine highs.

We can organise helicopter access to many great alpine locations.

The benefits are clear, far less time and effort to gain altitude to inspiring alpine areas.

This gives you the possibilities to do as much hands on ascent as you want to gain a peak or just enjoy the amazing scenery and environment.

All heli hikes are by arrangement only, with helicopter costs extra to guiding fees.

Helicopter costs are dependant on numbers of participants and flying time.

We know of some amazing places in the Wakatipu basin, trails that you won’t find on maps and scenery you won’t see on others memory cards.

We pride ourselves on small private groups and quality experiences in places well away from the most traveled routes.

How hard or how long is not an issue, we will organise private day tours to suit your interests and fitness levels.

Don’t forget to bring your camera to record those really special locations.
